Role Overview
As a Junior Game UI/UX Designer, you will work closely with the design, art, and development teams to create compelling and functional user interfaces. Your primary focus will be ensuring that our game interfaces are not only visually attractive but also enhance the user experience and gameplay. This role requires a keen eye for design, user flow, and a strong understanding of player needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the design team to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for game UI elements.
  • Design and implement intuitive UI/UX solutions that enhance the gaming experience.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately in the game.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
  • Assist in designing HUDs (Heads-Up Displays), menus, buttons, and other in-game elements.
  • Ensure consistency across all UI/UX elements, adhering to the game’s overall style and aesthetic.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in game UI/UX design and incorporate best practices.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Basic understanding of game engines (Unity, Unreal) and how UI/UX is integrated into games.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, especially in game-related UI/UX.
  • Familiarity with current trends and standards in mobile, console, and PC game design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a player-first mindset.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate your ideas clearly.
  • Basic knowledge of prototyping tools and processes for game UI.
  • Experience with user testing and iterative design processes.
