Who are you?

• A Mid-core or Hard-core gamer with extensive experience across 3-4 different game genres, ideally shooters like BGMI, PUBG, COD Mobile or Garena Free Fire.
• An excellent writer with strong attention to detail, skilled at crafting clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
• Hardworking with a grinding mindset, willing to rise to a high-performing team’s level.
• Proactive team player with strong ownership, resilience, and discipline.
• Strong fundamental understanding of the game testing life cycle and its applications.
• Ideally based out of Bangalore and ready to start immediately.

Nice to have

• Near-pro level or pro level experience in competitive games as a player, coach, or analyst.
• Skilled at understanding player sentiment and identifying root causes of enjoyment or frustration.
• Familiarity with game engines, programming, scripting, or test automation.
• Experience logging defects in systems like Jira.

What You’ll Do

• Test our new mobile shooter and dating simulation game by performing regressions, negative testing, Map QA, smoke checks, and matchmaking sanity to identify and address gameplay issues.
• Actively report bugs, maintain detailed documentation, provide daily updates, and log issues in Jira and follow through on them.
• Critically review design specs to provide player-focused feedback, identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and edge cases, and suggest improvements.
• Participate in playtests and proactively collaborate with design, art, level design, and engineering teams to discuss playability and provide actionable feedback.
• Manage iOS and Android devices to ensure proper allocation and availability for testing purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years of experience in the gaming/entertainment industry, either in QA or other relevant departments.

• Video Interviews: We will schedule a number of video interviews if selected.
• Live Interview: Demonstrate bug finding and reporting skills live on our project.
• Offer: If selected, we will send you a formal offer letter including compensation and other logistical details.
• On-boarding: Before joining, we require some reading and a full understanding of our Values & Culture. We will send some tasks and materials to review before you sign your offer letter.
• Begin: We will provide all necessary work materials, including a work computer, monitor, and other accessories, at our Bangalore office to get you started.
