AI Game Designer, Mobile Free-to-Play + AI Games
We’re looking for a sharp, highly driven game designer who knows mobile free-to-play games inside out and is genuinely excited about building AI games. If you can take an idea from a rough prototype to a live game players love, we want to talk.
Our mission:
We want to build the first globally competitive games studio out of India, one that can go head to head with Timi/Tencent, Supercell, and Activision Blizzard.
Greatness, for us, means taking on hard problems and refusing to settle. We care about it in the games we ship, and even more in the people and the company we’re building. We’re not there yet. We’re looking for someone exceptional to help us get there.
Role & key responsibilities:
Veteran or up-and-comer. What we care about is your skill, your drive, and how much you love games.
- Design for mobile free-to-play. Own gameplay, core loops, progression, and metagame for our mobile F2P games, across midcore, RPG, roguelike, and whatever genre fits the idea. Build systems that hook players in the first session and keep them coming back for months: retention, economy, and a session flow that feels right on a phone.
- Take games from idea to live. Prototype fast, test, ship. You’ll be hands-on across the whole arc, from early prototype through soft launch and into live operation, and you’ll drive the game from concept to live, not just individual features.
- Build with AI by default. Use AI as a core part of how you work, not a bolt-on. Prototype mechanics, generate and test content, and tighten your iteration loop with it. And because we build AI games, you’ll help design experiences that only work because AI sits at the center of them. We expect you to stay ahead of what these tools can do.
- Design documentation. Write clear specs and feature docs that tell the team exactly how a mechanic, system, control, or piece of content should work.
- Quality & polish. Hold the quality bar. Work closely with engineers and artists so every feature and asset feels great in players’ hands.
- Market analysis. Study the top mobile F2P games across genres. Pull apart what makes them work, from monetization to live-ops to feature design, and turn that into sharp breakdowns that feed our own decisions.
- Playtesting & feedback. Run internal and external playtests. Gather feedback and gameplay data, read what players are actually telling you, and iterate.
What we’re looking for:
- You live in mobile F2P. You play the best mobile F2P games and understand why they make money and why people stay. Economy, retention, and monetization aren’t mysteries; they’re how you think about design.
- You’re a builder who ships. You’ve taken something from nothing to done. You’d rather get a rough version in front of players this week than polish a doc for a month.
- You’re genuinely pro-AI. You’re excited about AI in games and in the craft of making them. You try new tools, find where they give you an edge, and you’re drawn to the kinds of games AI now makes possible.
- High IQ and problem-solving. Serious intellectual horsepower. You take messy design problems apart and come back with smart, systematic answers.
- Clear, organized writer. You write specs other people can actually follow.
- Curious and growth-oriented. You’re always learning: new techniques, new games, new tools. You treat feedback and hard problems as the reason you’re here.
- Analytical. You’re comfortable with data. You can break down a system or a pile of player feedback, find the pattern, and back your calls with reasoning.
- Detail-oriented. You sweat the small stuff that turns a good game into a great one.
- Show us what you’ve built. Junior or senior, you have to demonstrate real design ability: shipped games, personal projects, mods, game jam entries, writing, anything that shows how you think and what you can make.
