Jasper is an Associate at BITKRAFT Ventures where he identifies and evaluates new investment opportunities. Furthermore, he provides strategic and operational assistance to BITKRAFT portfolio companies while being a helping hand in their long-term positioning for growth. Jasper conducts market and segment deep-dives to develop investment hypotheses for the team.   Before joining BITKRAFT, Jasper gained experiences at Amundi Asset Management, a leading European asset manager, at BITKRAFT’s Seed Fund, and as an analyst at Lakestar, a successful European venture capital firm. Jasper studied business administration and philosophy at Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and Columbia University in the City of New York. Besides a history in traditional sports competing as a golfer on a national level in Germany, he has always been dedicated to esports since his early childhood, reaching the top percentiles of players across different major game titles.

I am a serial entrepreneur with my primary interest in esports, videogames and online technologies. Having build my first videogame online tournaments, lan-events and gameserver farms as early as 1997 i’d consider myself a veteran in the Esports industry.

Building companies and making ideas become reality is what i really love. Outstanding user experience, agility, transparency and sustainability are the core principles of my daily work. I am a creative thinker, problem solver and quick learner. I team up with ambitious and smart people of upright character.

For 23 years now i have been building and managing international games&tech companies in Central and Eastern Europe aswell as in Asia. Since 2012 i am actively investing in and supporting selected startups in the Games&Esports space, nowadays dominantly through my Venture Fund BITKRAFT Esports Ventures.

Zhong Liu Michael Fan is a Principal on the Galaxy Interactive team. He joined Galaxy Digital as Technical Consultant in February 2020, before joining the Venture team full time in April 2020. Prior to joining Galaxy Digital, he was the Chief Strategy Officer of Blade Group, responsible for launching the Cloud Gaming service \”Shadow\” in the US. With more than 10 years of experience in high-tech, Michael served various roles, including Product Development, Business Development, Strategy and Sales, and worked with different international companies such as Orange (EMEA/Japan), Nufront (PRC), Softbank (Japan) or Conviva (NA/EMEA/LATAM/NEA).

Born in China and raised in France, Michael speaks French, Chinese and English. He is an alumnus of ESSEC Business School in Paris.

Richard Kim is a Partner on the Galaxy Interactive team. He joined Galaxy Digital as COO in May 2018, before joining the Venture team full time in January 2019. Prior to joining Galaxy Digital, he was the COO of Global Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets Trading at Goldman Sachs from 2015-18, where he also led the initiative to buildout a digital assets franchise around trading/custody in 2018. From 2010-15, he worked at J.P. Morgan, where he was the Co-COO of Global Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets Trading, a $3b/year franchise, and prior to that was a derivatives and regulation attorney in the Corporate & Investment Bank. From 2007-10, he worked as an attorney in Cleary Gottlieb’s financial products and markets group, focusing on bankruptcy, derivatives and regulatory matters. He also served as an adjunct professor at New York Law School teaching a course on the Dodd-Frank Act. He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2007 and studied philosophy and economics at the University of Washington, from which he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2004 at the age of 18.
