Co-founders Joseph Kim (CEO), Paul Leydon (CCO), and Avinash Pandey (CTO) talk about why they started LILA Games. A new F2P games studio trying to build a new genre of shooter game initially for mobile platforms.
When one of my employee (an UI Designer and a fulltime gamer) forced me into gaming to understand better I hosted a shooting game on Cloud Service Provider(Digital Ocean) Server. Also built several plugins and the gamers loved to play on our servers in a day we use to see 100 players enjoying a server hosted in Bangalore with better ping rates.
I have more than 3 decades of development experience and have built 5 generations of products and services. I spent almost 2 months learning and understanding the framework and configuration of the system built plugins completely new to the platform.
This effort was fun but building a core framework was my dream including scoreengine. Couldn’t focus much on it as personal demands were on my head and other priorities overtook the precedence.
Well thanks for mentioning about the book zero to one definitely will take some time off and read. Also the article mentioned.
We wish you all the success and welcome to Bengaluru.
